Description of the Related Art In recent years, attention has been directed to a hologram recording system as a next generation large-capacity recording system in an optical disk. In the hologram recording system, a complex amplitude of light diffracted by a recording material is diffracted by a reference light and is recorded as a hologram. In this system, data can be read out from the hologram by using a reconstruction light similar to the reference light. The most important thing for the hologram recording system to ensure high-density recording is to shorten the distance between the recording material and the light source. To this end, an object light emitted from an object light source such as a laser diode is focused on the surface of the recording material through a hologram recording medium. In this case, when the focus position of the object light on the recording material surface is displaced from the center of the hologram recording medium or when an object light defocuses because of a variation in thickness of the hologram recording medium, the amount of diffraction changes. In addition, since the diffraction efficiency is sensitive to the temperature, the optical properties of the recording material change with the temperature variation of the hologram recording medium. In the hologram recording system, therefore, the distance between the object light and the recording material needs to be finely adjusted at all times. On the other hand, to enable a high-speed data readout from the hologram recording medium, it is necessary to increase the data readout speed while maintaining the required diffraction efficiency. In this connection, an angle of view of the reference light for the object light is narrowed to a certain degree so that an amount of diffraction can be increased. However, the conventional hologram recording medium has a problem in that the amount of diffraction of the hologram recording medium changes according to a light spot position when the hologram recording medium is exposed to the object light.
